He set the stage by addressing the anticipation and apprehension surrounding AI in publishing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cTechnology alone can\u2019t solve all the challenges in scholarly publishing,\u201d he remarked. \u201cBut it can play a significant role\u2014especially as editorial teams face rising submission volumes, peer review backlogs, and growing concerns around <a href=\"https:\/\/integranxt.com\/research-integrity-services\/\">research integrity<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashutosh highlighted how the rapid expansion of scholarly publishing has led to heavier editorial workloads and increased complexity. While AI is no silver bullet, its emergence is timely\u2014and its capabilities merit serious consideration. The goal: to explore what AI can realistically solve, where its limitations lie, and how publishers can harness its power responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He posed the central questions many editorial teams are asking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Will AI support or disrupt my work?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can it maintain editorial oversight?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What about confidentiality and accuracy?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At Integra, we\u2019ve been innovating with AI well before the recent surge in interest.
